Dr. Mehmet Bülent Akman is a Psychiatry Specialist with extensive clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of mental health disorders. After graduating from Trakya University Faculty of Medicine, he completed his psychiatry residency training at Bakırköy Prof. Dr. Mazhar Osman Mental Health and Neurological Diseases Training and Research Hospital, one of Türkiye’s leading psychiatric institutions.

Throughout his professional career, Dr. Akman has worked in both public and private healthcare settings, providing comprehensive psychiatric care for individuals with severe and chronic mental health conditions. His clinical interests include schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, panic disorder, and phobic disorders.

He also has extensive experience in the management of alcohol and substance use disorders, psychopharmacological treatments, medication interactions, personality disorders, and psychotherapy.
