Assoc. Prof. Tamer Akbulut is a Cardiology and Internal Medicine Specialist with extensive clinical and academic experience in cardiovascular medicine. After graduating from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine, he completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at Göztepe Training and Research Hospital and subsequently received advanced cardiology training through Münster University and Siyami Ersek Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Center.
With more than three decades of experience in cardiology, Assoc. Prof. Akbulut has developed expertise in the diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of cardiovascular diseases. His clinical practice focuses on coronary artery disease, hypertension, heart failure, cardiac arrhythmias, and preventive cardiology.
He served for many years as a Chief Assistant at Siyami Ersek Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Training and Research Hospital, combining clinical practice with academic activities. Throughout his career, he has remained committed to integrating current scientific advances into patient care.
Benefiting from his dual specialization in Internal Medicine and Cardiology, Assoc. Prof. Akbulut adopts a comprehensive approach to cardiovascular health and develops individualized treatment strategies tailored to each patient's needs. He currently provides cardiology services at Private Şadiye - Yaşar Cimilli LÖSANTE Medical Center.
